Eric has always been a leader. He carries himself in a polite and reasonable manner and is always on time and ready to contribute. He is a faithful man, humble councilmember, and caring father to his two daughters.

Eric has a heart of compassion. He is often behind the scenes, consistently helping those in need. He has been actively volunteering and facilitating food drives for the underserved community.

Through this difficult time, many lives have been touched by his philanthropic efforts. I personally believe this nation needs more servant leaders like him.

I invited Mayor Ching to Downtown Los Angeles, on skid row, to see if he would be available and willing to feed, clothe, and pray for the homeless. To my disbelief, he showed up with an army of volunteers, and donations for the people suffering downtown. He is deserving of my support and your support, because he loves all of God’s children.

Eric Ching helped our family in need when tragedy struck. We were shocked at what happened to our father during his morning run, but Eric was there to help us. He treated us like his own family members and dedicated his time to helping our family heal. He assisted and directed us to resources that we needed, and most importantly, he reminded us that the Walnut community was ready to come together to help us, and that we should open our hearts to others during this difficult time. We really felt that he cared for us and wanted to help our family. We were not just a single household among many in Walnut. We became Eric’s priority. The Shao family believes that Eric Ching is a strong pillar in Walnut’s community and one we can depend on.
